Since 1983 Nottingham Dental has been a trusted member of the Sherwood Park community. We are grateful for the continued support from our loyal patients as our team has grown to include almost twenty dedicated professionals.
The philosophy at Nottingham Dental centers around delivering high-quality oral care in a conservative treatment approach. Our priority is providing our patients with dental care at accessible fees in a clean and safe environment where the best, evidence-based dental materials are utilized.
In addition to utilizing the highest quality materials available, we also believe that quality takes time. As such, we provide our patients with the best service by allotting an extended chair time. This extra time allows us to perform dental procedures safely and meticulously. We also use the opportunity to educate our patients, discuss disease prevention and build trusting relationships. When our patients entrust their oral health to us, they can be confident that their smiles are in great hands.

Education & Prevention
We are true believers that preventive care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. That’s why we focus on regular exams and maintenance – checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we’re also concerned about your health. We are dedicated to providing our patients with a positive dental experience and aiming to become their life long partner in health.
Uncompromising Safety
We place great emphasis on infection control in our office. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination protocols using standards recommended by the Alberta Dental College, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
Technology
The dental equipments and materials we use have been carefully selected based on evidence based studies that we believe will achieve the high level of care our patients expect. Our office is equipped with digital intraoral x-rays and digital panoramic x-rays both for quality and reduction of radiation dosage, ultrasonic hygiene devices for efficiency, a soft tissue laser and Velscope oral cancer screening device. We have also recently added an intraoral scanner to help improve the accuracy of dental impressions. Flat screen TVs are mounted in each of our operatories so our patients are able to enjoy their favorite programs while receiving dental care.
